HOW TO DECLUTTER YOUR LIVING SPACES

The average person will spend a total of 3,680 hours or 153 days of their life searching for misplaced items.  It’s time to declutter!  Here’s the 5-bin approach:

Bin 1:  Items that need to be put away.  Items in this bin have a purpose and a place somewhere in your home.  You just need to find it.

Bin 2:  Items to be fixed.  These items also have a purpose and a place in your home.  They just need a little love before going to their place.

Bin 3:  Items to donate.  These items you no longer use or need but someone else might.  They can be donated or sold online.

Bin 4:  Items to be recycled.  These items have outlived their intended use but can be sorted to recycle.

Bin 5:  Items to discard.  Alas these items can’t be recycled, re-used or re-purposed.  They are destined for the trash bin.
